Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Estimating costs for oil and gas projects, pipeline, piping, and facility.
  • Prepare cost estimates for material, machines, fabrication, inspection, coating, assembly, testing and related operation for new tendering contracts.
  • Individual must have strong estimating background in oil and gas industry.
  • Identify information needs for developing accurate estimate as well as identifying many technical issues related to project implementation.
  • Responsible for generating competitive target costs for new and existing Contracts.
  • Estimate man-hours for your discipline of expertise (oil and gas projects), schedule work using Excel, Primavera, or other scheduling tools, solicit and evaluate Contractor quotes, and work closely with other seniors in their discipline field in compiling a complete project estimate.
  • To support the preparation of Cost Estimates on facilities modification project.
  • Preparation of the initial Contract Estimate as a basis for Cost Control.
  • Prepare estimate for Management reviews and approvals.
  • Maintain and update estimating statistics, methods and data, providing a comprehensive and reliable source of information.
  • Understanding of the engineering workflow for a project, and manage priorities.

Job Requirement


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineer.
  • Minimum at least of 7 to 10 years’ experience in estimated oil and gas industry preferred Kuwait experiences.
  • Knowledge of different estimating tools and methods utilized by industry.
  • A desire to exceed expectations in a challenging yet rewarding industry.
  • Strong numbers acumen.
  • Good interpersonal & communication skills.
  • Good in English writing, reading and speaking.
